A prominent corner building on the main street, the front entrance lobby has a traditional jug and bottle off-sales hatch, now sadly disused. There is a comfortable bar to the right and a separate seating area to the left. On the bar can be found two regular and two changing ales from Wadworth. Meals are served at lunchtimes and evenings, except Mondays, and Sunday lunches. Children's menus are available.

There is regular live music, and a fortnightly quiz on Tuesdays. An outside seating area is enjoyed in summer.
