17th-century, thatched, local ironstone free house. The flagged bar has a roaring fire in winter and for summer the beer garden has a decked patio area. There is also a heated marquee on the terrace.

The pub has a reputation for quality regional food and drink combined with traditional pub values, along with a great community spirit.

The nearby Bo Peep Farm Caravan Park offers a convenient base from which to explore this attractive Ironstone village, with its morris dancing heritage.
