Part of the St. James’s Hotel which faces the minster and its precinct, it’s a one-bar establishment which is essentially a drinkers’ pub. Nothing more to say really except that it isn't clear just why it is so named, although I’d say that some of the customers may write a diary! American Diner admits accompanied children until 5pm.
