This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
However, this club welcomes members and non-members alike; non-members just need to sign in.
The club is accessed off the town's main street; as you enter, a snooker table is in front of you with upholstered seats around the edge of the room, and there are a few stairs up to the bar where two cask ales are served, a regular Theakston Best together with a changing pale sourced from local breweries. Boxed ciders are also served and there is a selection of German bottled beer stocked too.
Annual membership is £12, monthly membership is £2.
