This Pub is Closed Long Term

Paraiso opened in November 2018 in what used to be the Traveller's Rest in Chittering on the busy A10. Much of the pub is taken up by its restaurant which offers a selection of Mexican and British dishes as well as Sunday roast. There is also a small pub area just inside the side entrance. No cask ales, there are four taps of keg beer including Greene King East Coast IPA.

Due to its location beside a busy main road and small local community (the hamlet of Chittering and a caravan park), the Travellers Rest had only traded intermittently for more than a decade. Paraiso was its final attempt and it had probably ceased trading before the first Covid lockdown in March 2020. Permission was granted in October 2021 to covert it to residential use.
