This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Built in the early 30s and bequeathed to its members by its founder's widow on her death. A brass plaque records this. Now home to the Cottenham Renegades Rugby Club. Pictures on the walls depict historic Cottenham and also the Renegades. The former snooker room at the rear has been incorporated into the rest of the club and now contains a stage to allow it to become a music venue. There is pool table downstairs and a snooker table upstairs.
Casual visitors are welcome but regulars need to become members. Usually only one of its three handpumps is in use. The real ale is often Greene King London Glory but can also be from Fellows which brews in the village.
This Club serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
