Approaching Connel Bridge from Oban, look for the large blue Oyster Inn to which the Gluepot is attached. A grey stone walled room with a log-burning fireplace houses the horseshoe bar which occupies the centre. In this way it divides the room into distinct front, side and rear areas, offering increasing privacy. Front windows look to Loch Etive and to the rear there is a beer garden. A varied bar menu can be extended by visiting the Oyster Inn restaurant. Real ale was avaialble for many years but sadly this was taken off the menu in 2021.
