Oswald's Cross, Oswestry

As of 6/7/24, this premises is not open to the general public, it is only available for those staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. The premises is now called Oswestry Hotel

New to Oswestry in 2009, this modern corporate style hostelry was built to refresh clients staying at the adjacent Premier Inn. This is very much a dining led pub, with an open plan lounge bar area for drinkers. It's a large place but is divided into several separate areas. The whole thing is tastefully done out and is quietly comfortable. In the front of the pub, there's quite a large patio area with tables and chairs. The name Oswald's Cross is the English translation for Oswestry's Welsh name which is Croesoswallt (Oswald's Cross!). Open for breakfast 6.30-10.30, 7-11 weekends.
