This Pub is Closed Long Term

Bar/Restaurant - Fusion - Asian & English.

Taken over by restaurateur Raymond Chu in December 2010, the former White House pub served a fusion of Asian and English food in its restaurant.

Built as a toll house for the western approach to Oxford in 1850 it became a pub (the Old Gate House) in 1868 when the toll house moved to the junction with Binsey Lane.

Closed 24th Dec 2022.
