This grade 2 listed three-storey former coaching inn sits prominently in the village centre on the A65. Fully restored following a devastating fire in July 2020, the Old Swan reopened in March 2022. Although substantially remodelled during the restoration, the Old Swan retains a multi-room layout, with two small rooms at the front, a larger seating area at the rear and the bar moved to a small side room which backs onto the large sheltered garden. Three changing cask beers are available. The main focus is now on food although the pub remains family and dog friendly. Major sporting events shown on the large screens in the bar and larger dining room.
