This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

16th century former village pub, now a well known Michelin starred and 5 AA Rosette restaurant with accomodation. Cosy and atmospheric with oak beams and nooks and crannies. Extensive wine list available by the glass and bottle and 'wine cave' (wine sales) business attached. Buses stop at the lane-end north of the village. Business has stated they welcome drinkers in the bar during restaurant opening hours.
