Set on the shore of Loch Harport, The Old Inn nestles on the tideline. Outside, trestle tables take advantage of the great views that Skye has to offer, and there can be no better place to enjoy a pint from one of the three hand pumps. Seafood is top of the menu, most of it coming from the loch next to the pub.
Although off the beaten track, the pub is busy year-round with an eclectic mix of hill walkers and climbers, and those touring Skye who have visited the Talisker distillery 100m down the road.
[Update 30 Jun 2023: report of Cuillin 'Cuillin Session' (4.0%), Isle of Skye 'Syke Red', and Belhaven 'Caledonian Deuchars IPA' and meals starting at 12:00.]
