Welcoming country pub a few miles north of Tamworth. Pedigree is the main ale, with guests from the Marston's portfolio (generally more in the summer months). The comfortable lounge features tables set for meal times and a cosy seating area in the window corner. The bar is smart and well decorated. To the rear is a pleasantly green and well-maintained beer garden. The all-day food menu includes a number of regular deals. Real ale is discounted on Mondays.
