Friendly town centre large single roomed pub with a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable interior. The etched windows represent the Frederick Smith brewery which was taken over as long ago as 1955. AA 3 star accommodation. Children welcome until 9pm. Many sports are shown on large screen TV's. There is live music on the last Saturday of the month, and karaoke features on Thursday and Sunday nights. A function room regularly hosts family events and is available for hire. There is Pay & Display parking next to the pub.
