This Pub is Permanently Closed

1840's local with a 'L' shaped lounge and small public bar. Disused upstairs room is where the local Oddfellows used to meet and in 1852 the whole building was the venue for a full-scale enquiry into the health of Shipley. The pub is now closed and the building sold. A planning application was submitted in December 2013 (ref. 13/05145/FUL) to convert the property to use as a restaurant & offices.
