The pub was built in the 1800s and named in honour of Queen Victoria; subsequent extensions have doubled its size and it underwent a significant refurbishment in 2019. The spacious interior is mainly open plan, with contemporary decor and wooden/stone floors, yet has numerous small side areas that are ideal for quiet dining and drinking. There are comfy sofas around the bar area, with padded chairs and sturdy wooden tables around the rest of the pub. Outside is seating on a multi-level decking area and garden, with a large children's play area, that overlook the River Avon. It offers a modern British pub inspired food menu with daily specials.
