Opened October 2019 by Crafty Pub Group (Elmesthorpe Brewery Co), in the former Wetherspoons premises. Please note CAMRA vouchers are NOT accepted in this pub.
A large modern pub, open-plan but split in to three levels, the bar is at street level. The middle level has comfortable seating and some dining tables. The top level is at the back of the building, it provides the main dining area and has period timbers in the walls.
Dogs welcome in the front bar area.
Beers usually include 2 from Elmesthorpe Brewery and several guests. Also available is 'Brewery Conditioned' Hobgoblin IPA.
Disabled access: level from street to the front bar, disabled toilet, stair lift to middle section.
The name of this pub recalls the office created by William the Conqueror. The Baron of Hinckley was also Lord High Steward of England.
