This Pub is Permanently Closed

Despite its wine bar appearance, this modernised freehouse remains very much a popular back-street pub with wine bar appearance. Up to three beers, mainly from local brewers, are always available in the single bar, which also serves the cellar and conservatory drinking areas. Live music sessions and fun nights are regular features. Good value pizzas or pasta dishes are available (1200-1500 and 1800-2100), Sunday lunches are also served. With accommodation at reasonable rates, it is centrally located, close to the Playhouse Theatre and Town Hall.
