Open plan Wetherspoon near the east end of the pedestrianised High St is a converted former car showroom. Refurbished in May 2025. The decked area at the rear overlooks the River Chelt and Sandford Park, and there's a municipal car park within a hundred yards. Some five changing guest ales from near and far supplement the three standard beers. The dance floor is used only Fri/Sat from 8pm, generally a quiet pub at other times. Food 8am-11pm. Interactive quiz night on Monday.
