Elegantly decorated pub, whose main bar room looks out to the pretty market square. There’s a small snug to the rear, and a first floor room showcasing an old timber framework which in earlier days was filled in with wattle-and-daub. Many historic local images decorate the walls. For summertime there is café-style seating at the front and a yard-cum-garden to the rear. Five interesting ales are offered. Food is served throughout the week and includes a traditional Sunday offering.
