A narrow fronted 16th century town pub that has a lot of space in a long, narrow, wood panelled, single bar. Outdoor tables and chairs. It's popular on Friday & Saturday evenings.
Historic Interest
Known as the Victoria in 1874, Manning's Victoria Inn in 1952 & 1956. Upstairs the building still contains some fine Jacobean panelling & other historic features, some of which are listed. In Aug/Sep 1981 edition of Last Orders*** it was reported that Mannings had been altered from a two bar pub to a one bar pub with the installing of a new servery & redesign of the frontage. Tim & Paula Semple had left & Ray & Sonia Vaughn were the new landlords, who were offering Worthington E.
