Ancient half-timbered pub.
Food pub tucked away along the narrow end of High St, left from the church at the top of the main street, dating from the 15th century.
The cosy interior with a log burner has an atmospheric mix of old brick walls and ancient timbers. At the back there's a covered terrace with light strings, seating and tables. It offers home cooked meals sourced from local, seasonal ingredients, pies and daily specials as well as Sunday lunches. Vegetarian options are available.
See Facebook for examples of the meals, food theme nights and for meal deals.
