This Pub is Closed Long Term

Re-opened April 2023 after an extended period of closure. The interior now has two distinct areas with a dining area to the left of the entrance and a seating area to the right. The new furniture and decoration give the pub much brighter interior.

The pub closed on 23/6/23 following the retirement of the landlord. Future uncertsin.

Historic Interest

The reference to lime kilns comes from the fact that this was once a major limestone quarrying area and the remains of the kilns lie close by.
