Situated on the main road through the village the pub has three distinct areas the bar counter serves two with a pool room to the rear.

Unusually the only draught beer is Carling lager with other sales being can & bottle.

June 2024, confirm name changed back to Drill Inn. October 2025 confirmed no Real Ale available.

Was once a part of the large local estate of the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery.
