Lighthouse Bar & Kitchen, Mumbles (Rok)

An Italian & British Café Bar with an adjoining restaurant, set in a large, airy building standing alone in a stunning position overlooking Bracelet Bay and the Mumbles Lighthouse, from which it takes its name.

The large building is split into three separate parts, with the Lighthouse Bar & Kitchen in a large open plan conservatory, which is the first part you come to, and offers either just drinks (no bar service, table service only) plus snacks, Bar Meals and Pizzas in a comfortable yet relaxed setting.

In the original part of the building behind, there is a separate formal dining, sister restaurant called the Rok, and there is also a function room upstairs called the Lighthouse Lounge. All three are owned by the same group, but now operate separately. All times shown are for the Lighthouse Bar & Kitchen only and may be subject to change.

History - Many years ago during the period of "The Mumbles Mile" this was previously a popular nightclub/bar called the Admiral Benbow. Then for approx. 20 years it became a local family owned A La Carte Italian Restaurant with a separate family Café Bar called Castellamare. It was purchased by the Swansea based Secret Hospitality Group in Spring 2022 and after refurbishment it reopened as the Lighthouse on the 1st of November 2022.
