Former 18th century coaching inn. The pub has recently been redecorated throughout with an eclectic mix of furniture, giving a good ambience. The rooms at the back form a comfortable lounge area. Outside is a patio at the front and a garden to the rear, with a large covered smoking area. Families are welcome until 9:00 in the top bar area. Acoustic bands every fortnight on Saturday evenings. The kitchen closed, but will cater for private functions on request.
