Unspoilt village local, hidden away down a side road - can be hard to find but worth the effort. The pub has been in the same family for nearly 100 years and is a true free house having been sold by Courage in 1956. Separate comfortable lounge and public bar where table skittles, shove-ha'penny, Nine Mens' Morris, quoits and pool are played. All the beer is served from the cask and the Weston's cider is on draught. No food other than crisps and pies, though you may request bread & cheese. The National Trust owned Chedworth Roman Villa is nearby. Enjoy.
