The Kings Head is Cotswold stone pub hidden away from passing trade with some of the best views available in our Stroud Valleys.
Run by Carol Nichols for 30 years you are assured of a welcome by publican and locals alike in this sociable, and distinctly child-friendly place.
The pub itself is a single room space with long bar to the rear, but the outside area on a sunny day really does set it apart from other local offerings. With a mix of 3 separate covered areas and plenty of open air space to sit all with the stunning view over the Woodchester Valley you really do feel like you are in heaven. Children's play area at the end of the garden is one of the best equipped locally.
The Sunday lunch is one of the better ones in the area. Hours may be variable with seasons and special occasions.
