The King's Arms had comprehensive internal and external refurbishment in May 2025 but was then temporarily closed before reopened again by current Licensee in June 2026. Dating back to the 19th Century, this pub has 3 rooms. The lounge area has traditional bell pushes for table service still in place although they are no longer operational. There is a large-screen television in the spacious pool room and a smaller screen in the bar area. Darts, dominoes and pool are all played with teams to be entered in local leagues. Outside, the large garden has facilities for outside entertainment for all the family.
In the early days of the Grand Junction Railway the premises was used as the venue for inquests into any Railway accidents and when Crewe Kings Speedway was active, Rainbow Street was the main entrance for the large crowds of Supporters.
