City centre bar, friendly and basic, lively at weekends. The single room has a long bar and widens at the far end, where there is a raised platform for karaoke and the like. There is a small smoking area beyond. The pub was once part of the George, one of Derby's famous coaching inns, and also played a bit part in Bonnie Prince Charlie's Rebellion of 1745. A blue plaque outside commemorates this event, but there is little evidence of the long history of the pub inside it, or in it's current name.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
