Brewery tap and restaurant.
Previously the Anchorage Restaurant, the premises became the home of Isle of Harris Brewery and taproom, opening on 29th March 2024.
The taproom promises to have twelve of their own beers on tap and a deli and bottle-shop which will include around 100 of their favourite beers for sale. Brunch and dinner will be served from a menu featuring local food including seafood landed here at Leverburgh Pier.
The pub is dog friendly and obviously very handy for the Harris ferries, though, in keeping with local tradition, closed on Sunday.
Ten keg taps are available which serve live beer (secondary fermentation in the serving vessel) and the brewery's beers are bottle conditioned.
[Update 6th April 2026: "Easily the best beer pub on The Outer Hebrides. A superb range, brewed by Isle of Harris and others. These include a number of beers that you won’t find anywhere else, all well brewed in great condition. Additionally several Black Isle beers were available along with two Belgium and one German beer on draft. Food is also outstanding." Richard Gann, Aberdeen Grampian and Northern Isles Branch]
