Was a friendly local opposite the Kenton Theatre which got busy before and after performances. Had an unspoilt interior layout featuring three separate areas. Was owned by Greene King. Now a private house - named Lavender House (as at November 2021).

Historic England Grade II listed, entry number 1369150. Not known when built. Has timber framing visible in passages at both sides of the building with an 18th century façade.
