Hop Hideout transferred to Unit 11, Kommune, 1-13 Angel Street, S3 8LN in 2019. This closed in May 2024. A new Hop Hideout opened in Leah's Yard in the Summer of 2024.

Specialist beer shop with tasting room established in 2013. Features a small bar with 6 taps, always including one CAMRA-approved KeyKeg beer. Dedicated to showcasing local breweries from Yorkshire and beyond. With over 450+ beers and a quality hand-picked selection of ciders. Expect to find local favourites Bradfield and Thornbridge next to experimental breweries such as Somerset’s Wild Beer Co and progressive Danish experimentalists Mikkeller, in addition to sought after USA breweries like Crooked Stave, Prairie and North Coast Brewing. Bottles and cans can be consumed on site (+80p corkage per bottle or can) and there is a garden area to the rear of the building.
Draught beer take out is also available. Customers can purchase a swingtop 1L growler in store or bring their own container.
Hop Hideout is also a community and social hub hosting a monthly running club (Mikkeller) and regular evenings like meet the brewers.
