This Pub is Permanently Closed

Roadside pub on the main road B6265 from Green Hammerton to Boroughbridge in the lower Ure valley. The slightly austere exterior belies a pleasant interior. The bar is furnished with copper-topped cast iron base tables with stools and comfy bench seating, the flooring is a mix of quarry tiles and carpet while a tasteful collection of plates and pictures complete the decor. Two real ales are usually on offer.

NB. This pub is currently up for sale with planning permission to convert part of the property into housing, and opening hours are currently erratic. Please check with the pub before making any journey to visit.
