Roadside local, which used to be a Bentley's house. The premises comprise a lounge containing the bar and games room. The decorations are themed on railways (the pub is named after the nearby long defunct railway and is adjacent to the site of the old Thornton station) and horse racing. The adjacent dining area has since been sold off and is now being used by another company.
A planning application and Listed Building consent application to change use of the main public house and flat above to business units (A1/A2) and the first floor function room to a hair and beauty salon was validated by City of Bradford MDC on 2 Dec 2021 (ref. 21/06053/FUL and 21/06054/LBC). Planning permission was granted on 6 May 2022 and Listed Building consent on 17 Feb 2022.
