The George Hotel is a friendly, family run, thatched 15th century hotel which is situated in the the historic town centre. The main bar has an original inglenook fireplace with an elm beam said to date back to the 10th century, while the rear bar provides a contemporary alternative. Separate restaurant and a snug add to the facilities. There is a small patio to rear. Also opens for breakfast from 7am. Meal Times given are those for The bar and restaurant.
