An attractive free house under the same ownership since 2005, located in a sparsely populated village between Wincanton, Castle Cary and Bruton. The Montague is well known in the region for its outstanding cuisine, complemented by its real ales. The single bar is cosy and welcoming, with diners catered for in a restaurant at the rear. From here there is access to a wide terrace and garden with spectacular views towards the famous folly, Alfred’s Tower.
