Large pub/diner. Whilst open plan it has been divided into a number of distinctive separate areas off the bar including a stepped restaurant area to the left of the entrance; wheelchair accessible from the entrance. The kitchen is visible at the rear of the room, with the toilets to the left.

The bar curves to the right with three handpulls, including one guest, from the Heineken range.

Historic Interest

Until 2011 the Chesterfield Arms, it was once a Home Ales house with the popular nickname "The Cheggo" (Gedling Eye 08 October 2015). In the 1823 Alehouse Recognizances for South Thurgarton Hundred, the Chesterfield Arms was under victualler Thomas Brierly (County Archives C/QD/LV/4/7/16). In 1855, it was a fully licensed establishment under J. Cheshire and in 1876 the publican was one John Cheshire (Post Office Directories).
