A typical country pub/restaurant which, while 'food led' (and a good reputation locally for quality and quantity), does welcome casual drinkers. Two-for-One special menu lunch offer Tuesday-Friday is good value and popular; booking advised.
Internally, there are three smart linked rooms, mostly furnished for dining, around a central bar: at one end the Oak Room (former public bar) with its open fire, the large Garden Room at the other end, plus an (unnamed?) room in between.
Historic Interest
Originally a coaching inn, built in 1803, which once incorporated a smithy and a saw-pit. Little information on early ownership, but it was a Marston's pub for many years until bought by the present owners in 2013.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (Often another Burton Bridge beer.) and 1 regular beer.
