An impressive family-run 300-year-old inn, close to the centre of the village, opposite St. Peter's church, and bedecked with attractive floral displays for much of the year.
The pub features a smart L-shaped lounge, with beamed ceiling, primarily catering for diners, and a plainer public bar with pool table and wall-mounted TVs. Colourful murals with a classical theme enhance both the ladies and men's toilets!
Home-cooked food with fresh vegetables (real chips!); Sunday lunch menu limited to traditional roasts.
Ramblers are very welcome.
