This large two-roomed popular and comfortable village pub, formerly a coaching inn, dates back to the 1850s and once incorporated a shoemaker's shop.
The long narrow public bar is partitioned into two areas, with steps in between. The smart lounge has a beamed ceiling and is also partitioned and part raised.
Garden, with picnic tables, has a child-proof fence. Walkers are welcome.
