Small bar in hotel found on Woodstock High Street. The Feathers has been recently refurbished with the aim of restoring historical features and careful modernisation . The building was once an 18th century sanatorium, a butchers and a drapers shop before before being merged and converted into a hotel called The Dorchester. It was renamed The Feathers in the 1980. in homage the owners taxidermy bird collection. The bar, now know as The Aviary, has a lovely sunny courtyard , and a fire in winter, and The Nest is the Restaurant. Specialising in gin with a Guinness Book of World records selection! The Times ran a review on 23rd Nov 24.
