Atractive Grade II-listed 18th-century coaching inn in the centre of the historic town of Woodstock. Drinkers are welcome in the split bar areas, one with wooden tables and chairs, the other with sofas and chairs, the latter is suitable for families and is dog-friendly.

There is a small enclosed patio tucked away at the rear, and an airy conservatory restaurant. Hook Norton ales are available, with an additional changing ale in the spring and summer. The restaurant has a real fire. There is a wood fired pizza oven.

The bright and airy restaurant is available for functions and wedding parties.

It is open from 9am for breakfasts and coffees (except Sunday).
