This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Farningham Hotel was built in 1925 by Plumstead brewers Beasley's, the license being transferred from another Farningham Pub, The Bricklayers Arms. It became a Courage tied house when Beasley's were swallowed by Courage in 1963. Sadly this fine building closed its doors in 2002 and was sold to property developers. It was soon converted into residential accommodation.
If anyone has a photo of the pub in its Courage days and is willing to share please get in touch via the feedback form.
