The principal building is a magnificent Victorian Tudoresque manor house; its many gables, bargeboards, mullioned and transomed windows, and tall chimneys present a visual feast. The Tudor Bar is wood-panelled, and furnished with armchairs. Sails Brasserie, a modern, nautically-themed bar, is open for breakfast; it is in a separate building that also contains a leisure club, a beauty spa, and a restaurant. The 42 luxury bedrooms are in three two-storey blocks. The complex is set in 23 acres of landscaped gardens beside the Lymington River.
