Welcoming town pub with an attractive open-plan bar, a wood-burning stove and tables for diners. Currently the kitchen is closed for refurbishment but is expected to reopen for the Summer. Both the ales and the premises have been spotlessly maintained by long term joint landladies Cathy and Emma. There is a heated patio garden to the rear. The pub attracts locals, holidaymakers and shoppers from the nearby market with its warm welcome and traditional pub games such as darts and cribbage.
