Description

The Griffin Brewery has stood for more than 360 years with the Fuller’s name coming from the partnership formed in 1845. Gale’s of Horndean was bought in 2005 and closed a year later. Dark Star of Sussex was bought in 2018 and closed in 2022. Gale's and Dark Star are now brewed at Chiswick with Dark Star returning after a year out at Meantime Brewery, until its closure in spring 2024. Fuller’s sold its brewing interests to Asahi in 2019 but kept its pubs and hotels.
