The beamed 17th century pub in this rural village is a regular entry in the GBG. There is a roomy bar and a large bright extension at the rear, replacing an old conservatory, which has become the main dining area. Other separate drinking areas surround a log fire.
There are Four hand-pulls, dispensing at least three cask ales from local breweries. Bar snacks, lunchtime and evening menus are available. It offers quiet seating areas, generous helpings and friendly service. A welcoming family-run pub popular with walkers and cyclists. The ‘front’ room bar also has some traditional pub games such as Darts and indoors Quoits with events on all through the year.
The hourly Bridgnorth - Kidderminster - Stourbridge bus (125) stops outside the pub.
On the Geopark Way Trail and close to the Wyre Forest and Kinlet Hall.
