A cottage which became a beerhouse in about 1834. The licence was refused in 1913 at which time it as owned by Eley's Brewery of Stafford. When the licence was reviewed in 1913 it was described as having a trade of only one barrel a week and the property was said to be in poor condition. The licensee in 1913, Mrs Susan Oakley, was described as a shopkeeper on the premises in 1916. The property became a residential cottage but was subsequently demolished and a new house built on the site.
