Rotherham district's second micropub and the first within the town boundary. It opened on April 11th in a former DIY shop. It has been simply but tastefully converted to a micro-pub with six handpumps dispensing changing guest beers sourced from microbreweries both locally and from further afield. It also has four craft keg beers and real cider is also available. Located close to a busy roundabout on a major route out of the town, it offers a quiet haven in contrast to the nearby lively Stag pub. No food is served, save for snacks, but there are several takeaways nearby and you can bring in your own food. There are outside tables at the front of the pub. There is a general knowledge quiz on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm and live acoustic music on the third Sunday evening of the month. Please note that although the pub is open until 11, the bar may close a little earlier, especially if quiet.
